How often do problems come up in our relationships. Naturally, they need to be resolved. Women tend to be more inclined toward this. Men sometimes don't even notice that a problem exists.
And so the woman starts to act. She always wants to talk to him, to explain her point of view. When she tells her husband, “WE NEED TO TALK,” he hears it as a threat and thinks, “Here we go.” So he avoids that conversation by every possible means. Knowing this — it's better not to start a conversation with those words.
It's also not a good idea to jump straight into accusations. Things like: YOU NEVER listen to me, or YOU'VE ALWAYS been heartless. The words NEVER and ALWAYS damage a relationship. Don't exaggerate. After all, he doesn't ALWAYS do that. Here's another good piece of advice: don't accuse, and don't attack. He'll immediately go on the defensive. Remember how that went last time?
In situations like this, it's better to talk about your own feelings. And then say what you want to communicate to your loved one. For example: I feel hurt when you talk to me that way. Or: I feel lonely when you're on your phone.
The right words are the key to your relationship. Learn to use them.
